For my friend, Ben “Diablo” Shelton (1974-2005), #trax regular, sysadmin guru, beer connoisseur, rally racing fan, telecom geek. Ben once told me that he liked my fake guitar, so in shock after his passing, I wrote this for him. I still tear up a little typing this summary in Q4 2008 — He is deeply missed by all of us.

this is what love is… a friend to be missed by countless others, their memory carried on in song. This is truly a poetic statement. I’m in awe of the imprint this person made on the world in the form of this song. No one could hope for such an articulate, poignant tribute.
