Flowerguy’s Pool Party (IT)

This weird guy kept trying to sell Kristi flowers at work, and he invited her to a pool party! So I used that as a title for a totally unrelated song.

Why does this have the same title and link to the same file as http://www.biglionmusic.com/music/chiptunes/flowerguys-pool-party-it ?

Hi virt the flowerguys pool party song done in one hour and approx 9 years ago is incredibly funky, the break in the middle is genius. Can’t stop listening to it. Your in a different league and my fave muso ever. All the best.

    Hi.
You should note here, that this is actually a cover of a c64 SID by Dane.
    Nice conversion though.

Thanks, but actually you’re mistaken — this song came first, and Dane in fact covered it as a SID. I would never take credit for someone else’s composition, I wrote this song 8 years ago for my girlfriend (who is now my wife!) I’m glad you like it.

Pipimeister, it’s flattering that you’ve mistaken the copy for the original. However, all credit must go to Virt for his stunning work. Thanks to Jackasser and Iopop for pointing me in this direction. :)

After finishing the cover of Dane’s version, i’ve discovered that this was the original. My original aim was to learn a bit about what i particularly like about chipmusic, so Dane’s excellent programming was a good lession, but if i had to do it again, i would not miss those nice tracks Virt did. I feel lucky that by covering Dane’s song it led me to discover this excellent composer! If you wanted to hear my version, click here: http://youtu.be/nBz2bFEr3W0
