Sorcerors Battle

This is one of the three new songs I debuted at MAGFest 7 – An FM journey into an epic past where metallic wizards do battle on high windy cliffs with guitars and lightning. Dedicated to Wizwars, who couldn’t be at Magfest, and who was deeply missed in an otherwise incredible chiptune concert.

This is great. I love the pedal point stuff in the intro… what did you use for the FM?

Hot damn, this sounds great! Though sonically not fat enough to be a tribute to wizwars…

One of our best files. Your melodies are expressive as mathematical arguments. But you could let them act more like “dialogues” => same melodie but different samples in a question-answer-like dialogue. You change rhythms quite fluently. Beat adapts to melody. You ould add some more sound effects, as you did with the wizards sparks at 2:42″.

Hahahahahahaha Supervisor! Great tune, and totally amazing live. Watching those little sausages go into epileptic fits on your keyboard is really something!

supervisor, I felt the dialogue… it was less of a question/answer dialogue and it was more of a “This is Reality and you’re a Dumbass.” style that you would probably see coming from two wizards/nerds who’ve found their balls duking it out over which kings they’re going to allow to rule the world. Mathematical arguments are always subject to the model in which they’re placed and a dialogue of extrapolation can be potentially unending.

Sorry ’bout the late post, but I just discovered chiptunes and now I’m all horny.
