Mighty Milky Way

Mighty Milky Way, WayForward’s latest and greatest downloadable game, is available right now on Nintendo DSiWare! I promise you’ll love it from the title screen onward; it’s a pretty addictive little game.

Then, once you’re madly in love with our new friend Luna and her planet-skipping escapades, head over to my brand new Bandcamp site, and pick up a copy of the Complete Original Soundtrack, which not only includes all the music from Mighty Milky Way, but ALSO all the music from our previous DSiWare game, Mighty Flip Champs! That’s two WayForward soundtracks at once. Can you handle it?

The best part of all: Just like my Shantae: Risky’s Revenge OST, this is another “pay what you want, IF you want” setup. You can download the MP3s for free, no strings attached (follow the link back here from the Bandcamp site) or name your own price. As before, all proceeds will go directly back into music gear for my studio.

I hope the soundtrack brings a smile to your face, because — fair warning — when Bloodrayne: Betrayal ships, you’re not going to have much of a face left after it EXPLODES WITH JOY.

Haha! I’m going to disobey and listen to the soundtrack before playing the game.

Wow. I’m only on the first track and this is already so amazing.

Holy damn, that is some fantastically funky soundtracks, I wish I had a DSi or something now, I’d definitely play games with this kind of musics playing! Also +20 Love Points for using Luka <3

I’ll have to wait until the 3DS gets DSiWare to play the game, but I absolutely had to get this right away. No doubt it will be fantastic. Keep up the great work.

Got myself a 3DS on release, and buy were the launch titles boring. I already had SSF4 for PS3, but still I bought it. I also got myself a copy of Ghost Recon the X-Com-ish game, which actually was pretty good.
Sadly Ghost Recon kept giving me black screen on level 5 so I never passed that.
Now they recently released an update allowing us to download Virtual console, DSiware and 3DSware. First game I purchased were: Zelda 4: Link’s Awakening DX, Shantae: Risky Boobies and Dark Void Zero. Oh and ofcourse Excite Bike 3D, which was a fun game to get for free! :)

Shantae is fantastic is all I can say. Fantasticly designed. It’s the game I’ve been playing most on my 3DS. That says quite alot. Oh and Virt: Great music, sfx and audio design. :)

Ok, so, I was just looking around on the Nintendo eShop for interesting new titles, and I happened across MMW. It took me 2 seconds into the video to start flipping out. I had to come and find your website, sir, to ask this one important and pressing questions – that’s Megurine Luka, right? The vocaloid? As soon as I heard the main theme I recognized her and knew I had to buy it. So I wanted to say thank you for such an awesome soundtrack that I am now downloading. It was the sole reason I bought the game. But it really is awesome & I luvs it. Thank you!

I have no monies to pay for these wonderful soundtracks for the time being (Shantae and its sequel and MMW), but rest assured I will compensate you later for this sweet, sweet candy you have fed my ears. Thank you for being so generous and open to sharing your awesome music!

I had received your album when I purchased the Indie Game Music Bundle a few days ago and I must say it is a very awesome soundtrack. I enjoy very much the craftsmanship in the music and how it has a very epic sound. I haven got to try the game itself due to not owning a dsi (just a plain ds) but at leased I got experience the wonderful music.

I like the idea of being you. People love to hear about you, your story, whats going on for you, especially the bad. I guess misery loves company.

Hi Jake, thanks for the great tunes! I was looking for the amazing Double Dragon Neon Soundtrack and found it but you should consider putting your bandcamp link more prominently on your site so people can support your music.
