Kwakfest CDs have arrived!
Posted by Jake on December 11th, 2008 filed in GeneralMy first run of 100 Kwakfest CDs came in; They look AWESOME, 6 panel full color insert, artwork looks great, the discs are professional dupes, not cheap blue CDRs, with direct-printed full disc art. It’s commercial quality.
Digital downloads will go live on iTunes, Rhapsody, eMusic, AmazonMP3, and Napster on January 1st (right before MAGfest). The Kwakfest promo website is almost complete — just need to actually wait until the online store links actually exist.
The CD will be $10 plus $3 shipping to the Continental US, and of course I’ll ship overseas too. I’ll have some in person at MAGFest and online through PayPal. The digital downloads have their prices set by the stores, so I’m hoping it’s not too much, there are 19 tracks.
Lastly, ALL of this is made possible by TuneCore, an aggregator service which I can’t recommend highly enough. It’s a one-stop shop for independent music distribution (online and physical media), and their service and support have been totally top-notch.

Have been a fan since “Aspire II” won some contest somewhere on the interbutts. This CD will be one of my few nonessential purchases this year. :)

awesome. what company did you use to have the CDs pressed? I may be having an album pressed sometime in 2009 and I’ll be looking for a place.

It’s ALLLL tunecore. :) CDs, iTunes etc, everything. Their prices were great considering the quality, I paid a little more for the 6 panel and full color.. They have price lists on the site.

I bought your album on Friday from AmazonMP3. Outstanding. Just outstanding. I can’t wait to buy a physical cd. Get that online store open!
